Ms.
Danielle DiStefano comes highly recommended as a
classically trained, professional vocalist. Her
ability in singing operatic, sacred, musical theater,
jazz,
ballads, Italian street songs and Bollywood has brought rave reviews and many encore
performances from her audiences as one of Western
New York's finest vocal performers.
Her repertoire has expanded immensely with many new
jazz, standards and a whole new offering of
Bollywood!
Ms.
DiStefano made her operatic debut in Puccini's
Suor Angelica,
with Opera Sacra in Buffalo and performed in Nickel City
Opera’s
Rigoletto, Amahl and the Night Visitors ,
Il Trovatore, and Il Tabarro.
She has
also performed with The Cadenza Opera Workshop doing
the leads for selected scenes from La Traviata
as Violetta, The Marriage of Figaro as
Susanna and the Countess, La Bohéme as Mimi
and Pamina in Die Zauberflöte.
She
made her orchestral soloist debut with the Four
Seasons Chamber Orchestra, May 2011 in Hamburg, NY.
Past
performance venues have included the Burchfield
Penny Art Center, Montante Cultural Center, UB Baird
Hall, the Riviera Theater, the Basilica, in addition
to local TV appearances and numerous private
recitals, concerts and galas, here and throughout
the US.
Ms. DiStefano
enjoys writing articles for Operabuffs and keeps a
busy schedule singing as “The Wedding Diva”
throughout WNY and Ontario.
She is a
proud member of the Chromatic Club Colligiates and finds great
joy in sharing her love of opera, jazz and more with the
community.
Audiences have
enjoyed her concerts in New
York, North Carolina, Ft. Lauderdale, Utah, Ontario
Canada and the Cayman Islands.
